Established in 1952 by the Parravicino family, Realtors is one of the oldest firms of its kind in Barbados and is based in the heart of Holetown on the stunning west coast of the island. Realtors is now run as two separate companies under one umbrella. Suzanne Davis is the major shareholder of Realtors Real Estate Limited and manages the sales, long term rental, valuations and auctioneering services provided by that company. Realtors Luxury Villa Rentals provides property management, villa rentals and insurance. The two companies work closely together to provide a full portfolio of expert property services.
Over the past six decades, Realtors has earned a reputation for reliability, integrity and a commitment to its clients. “We hold traditional values on property, leisure and business,” says Suzanne. “We are upright, ethical and transparent in serving tenants, landlords, vendors and purchasers. In return, we’ve gained their trust, friendship and repeat business.” The company serves a diverse group of local and international customers, many of whom have remained loyal to the company over several generations.
“We serve a broad market of home buyers and investors,” says Suzanne. “Our clients come from Britain, Europe, America, Canada and the Caribbean, among other countries. And the company adapts its service to suit each one of its clients. For example, some choose to use their Barbados base as a holiday home and require our sister company to manage and sometimes rent the property in their absence. Which provides peace of mind for them.”
The company also offers an attentive and expert advisory service. “An important aspect of our business is guiding clients to make good decisions,” says Suzanne. “People often approach us thinking they know exactly what they want, but we spend time with them to ensure they understand exactly what they’ll get for their money and which areas of the island are best for short-term holiday lettings if that is what they require. Our History
Having marked its 60th anniversary in 2012, Realtors boasts a history of success. Recently, for example, Realtors Real Estate Limited won Best Real Estate Agency in Barbados at the International Property and Travel Awards 2013-14.
